I would like to present to the UCI a ruling with a lot of numbers and decimals that wold require all Tour de France winners to race the Leadville 100.
Crazy, I know. But after years of bagging by Lance and Levi, who come with the best conditioning after a month of centuries, there is finally a reversal. Yes, Cadel has been a roadie, for a while, and a world champion, but if anyone should be able to conquer Leadville, Cadel has the credentials. This ruling would prove the bravado of any Tour winner. "Yeah, you think you've done some tough shit? Well try this". Maybe then, the dirt lovers could gain a little more respect for the roadies out there. However, this is Leadville, mostly fireroads and some real roads. We would rather see these roadies take on some singletrack and bounce over a rock garden or two. With this in mind, I urge the BC Bike Race to reschedule to August and prepare for next years possible entrants, the Schleck brothers after UCI ruling 1.7.012.3$%* takes effect, which will require all podium finishers to team up for the singletrack stage race.
